A recipe to share

Hi all,

We know we had abandon you guys for quite some time. We would like to apologise since both of us are busy with our 9 till 6 *sometimes 12am...T_T* Here is one of the recipe that we like to share with you. Maybe you guys can try it at home during your spare time=D

Lemon zest cupcakes with vanilla frosting

makes 10 muffin sized cupcakes
4 oz butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
4.5 0z flour
1 tsp baking powder
zest of one lemon
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
3 eggs (separated)
1/2 Tbsp lemon juice

1. Preheat oven to 170 C and prepare paper liners in muffin pan.
2. Cream butter and 1/4 cup sugar till fluffy. Add in the 3 egg yolks, one at a time. Mixing on low speed till combined.
3. Mix in flour, baking powder and salt till combined.
4. Add in lemon and vanilla extract.
5. In a clean, dry mixing bowl, beat egg whites, remaining 1/4 cup sugar and lemon juice with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.
6. Add the beaten egg whites into the batter in 2 separate additions, each time folding gently with a spatula until just blended.
7. Fill up muffin liners till 2/3s full and bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes or a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.

Vanilla frosting

4 oz butter, at room temperature
1.5 cups icing sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 Tbsp milk

1. Beat the icing sugar and butter together with a paddle attachment on medium-slow speed until the mixture comes together and is well mixed.
2. Turn the mixer down to slow speed. Combine the milk and vanilla extract in a separate bowl, then add to the butter mixture.
3. Once all the milk has been incorporated, turn the mixer up to high speed.
4. Beat until the frosting is light and fluffy, at least 3 minutes. The longer the frosting is beaten, the fluffier and lighter it becomes.

a gift from Nadya Salleh to her colleague=)

*Here comes the bride....all dressed in white....lalalalalala~*

*Their love story started in year 2000 while both of them still studying. They got engaged in year 2008 and in 2010 they became man and wife.He drives a Honda to bring his bride to shop as one of her hobby is shopping. Don't all of us love to shop?:p

*We wish Aida and Shah for enternal happiness=)*

This cupcakes were ordered by our dear friend, Nadya. Its her wedding present to a newly wed couple. We did it as "hantaran" and we enjoyed doing this as this is one of the not so conservative design for "Hantaran" as the cupcakes were designed based on their love story.*schweeettt* We want to thank Nadya for having faith in us and let our creativity flows...=D thanks babe=D

lots of hugs and kisses,

sorry for the hiatus...

First of all, we would like to apologise for the silence....Both of us were so busy with our 9-9*yah rite!!!* job until we abandoned this site. Anyway here are the some updates about us while we were gone...

-Wanda & Ziela-

We would like to congratulate Wanda & Ziela on their engagement. We are so sorry for taking so long to post this project. As for this design, both of them wanted something simple and stuffs that made them "THEM" so we suggested, instead of having the normal engagement theme, why don't they go for something more creative? so here it is...The cupcakes were decorated with the things that they like. We even did a pop quiz with them, asked Wanda what Ziela likes and vice versa. =) To both of them congratulation again.

"Wanda suka Manchester United and Favourite Player dia Rooney. Dia pon suka gitar juga"-quoted from Ziela.

Ziela ini suka SHOPPING!!and dia suka Indonesian Band - quoted from Wanda

Left is his side and right is her side=)

-nad-

Both of these orders came from Agnes's ex-schoolmate. Sorry to you too for posting it late=)

Past Projects

Its been a while we abandoned itsy-bitsybites due to our hectic working life. There are few projects we did along that time but we were unable to find the time to post it here. As for now, we would like to show you the past orders that we had made for our supporting customers. We know, its the wrong time to post it since now its Fasting month for all the Muslims out there but this just one of that minor "obstacles" right? We know that you are stronger than that=) so feel free to browse the past orders that we had made for them.

This order was made for 2 little boys that love Manchester United. One with age of 5 and another with the age of 9. Look at the football vibes that can influence various age. We have few of orders that are specially designed for the Manchester United fans.=)

This order was a birthday theme. Our customer specifically wanted a fat lips, a jersey and shorts and a pair of shoes and she specifically mentioned what colour she wanted so it was quite a simple order.

Since our Independence Day this year falls during fasting month and for those who are working, we got quite a LONG weekend right? This particular customer likes to order when she wants to go back to her hometown. The theme was "balik puasa & merdeka!" with Malaysia Flag. One very loyal customer. We love you!!!

p/s:we love everyone of you also;) Happy Fasting

Till then
